WELCOME TO RANCHO ORGANICO!
We also have "adopted" a special women's cooperative in
Panabaj, Guatemala. It is pronounced pah nah BAH. Last Fall, their
village was completely destroyed by a landslide caused by rains
from a hurricane and over 800 people lost their lives. The survivors
were left with no homes, or clothes and lost many of their family
members. A wonderful man in a nearby village, has given a group
of the women a space and helped them to acquire looms and materials
so that they can weave to earn money to begin to re-build their
lives. We were so touched when we met them in May as they have such
a positive attitude after having lost nearly everything that was
precious to them. Their work is absolutely excellent and is of the
highest quality we've seen! If you would like to help us help them,
